Following their historic runner-up finish at the District meet the Bears were poised for a strong performance at the State Championships held last Thursday and Friday at C.T. Brannin Natatorium in Canton. Freshman, Brogan Robinson, made it back to finals in both the 200 Yard Individual Medley and 500 Yard Freestyle events. Robinson touched the wall at 1:59.97 to claim the 14th spot in the Individual Medley while finishing 9th in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a blistering 4:45.13. Despite being down a swimmer the boys 200 yard Medley Relay comprised of Zach Lambert, Jack Nebraska, Brogan Robinson, and Ben Paull managed to finish 23rd with a time of 1:44.39. Those same members also competed in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay and ended up 20th with a 1:31.87.

The Bears return their full roster next year and look to build on the success they have had this season.
